His trailblazing innovations in the field of airplane maintenance software, now commonplace throughout the entire airline business while first coded for one specific firm, ultimately led to what is surely his best known program. He created numerous other systems for the hotel and airline sectors both before and after, among them robotic routines to take and record airline bookings, used by fifty or more airlines, as well as his innovative room booking program on the PC deployed by the hotel industry, first offered to the public at over seven hundred venues. He went on to develop QuikTix, an automated ticket sales network. Even though this was certainly his specialty, he also often worked in non-software areas. Key roles with American Airlines and American Express followed, and of course he established his own firm seventeen years ago.
