Eastern European holidays are much like those holidays celebrated all over the world. They like to celebrate mothers day and show there appreciation and gratitude to there mothers. They have feats and festivals to celebrate all there mothers have done for the. They celebrate them giving them life and taking care of them for so many years by dedicating a day in which they take of the mothers. They also celebrate fathers day to commemorate their fathers and all the hard work and effort they put into raising them and providing for there families. Big dinner feats and festivals show there respect and appreciation.

Christmas is another holiday that many eastern Europeans celebrate with huge festivals and a variety of activities. Although many countries celebrate differently they all celebrate in some way or another. Some countries like to decorate trees and there houses while having friends and family over for a huge feast. While others celebrate wit a mass and marching ceremonies.

Since many eastern European countries are very religious they like to celebrate religious holidays such as Easter. Easter is celebrated with decorated homes, huge ceremonies and a list of different fun activities. They are also sure to go to church and have ceremonies that show how grateful they are.

Weddings are also somewhat of a holiday in eastern European countries. They celebrate with huge ceremonies that involve lots of flowers, food, dancing, and high spirits. Each country has its own customs and traditions that get incorporated into the wedding ceremony. For many marriage is one of the greatest things you can have.
